The Mitchell Kit includes a Mitchell Thread and Castle Nut. Attach the Thread, Castle Nut and Mitchell bottom-plate to the Sneaker Seat and voila! You’ve got a Mitchell based seat. Perfect for handheld shots off a moving dolly, or handheld booms off the boom arm. Mount it to a vehicle rig, a Ubangi or any special configuration you can dream up.

The key to a great butt dolly is the wheels. 
Most inferior butt dollies use off the shelf casters. The problem is those casters are too soft. When you change direction in the middle of a shot, you'll feel a hitch which results in a bumpy shot. 
Simply unacceptable!
To achieve smooth motion and effortless direction changes, butt dolly casters must have precision bearings and high durometer wheels which can only be custom made.
After a few years of R&D we are proud to announce our latest line of high performance SuperGlide 100a durometer casters! These fire-engine red, state of the art skate wheels are custom made to exact specs just for Sneaker Dollies. The wheels are enclosed in a sleek, tough ABS housing to protect all moving parts from the elements. They are easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. These Sneaker Dolly wheels are like gliding on ice!

The Sneaker system consists of three robust, 2-inch thick aluminum center posts. Each pipe has 6 inches of adjustability. Between the 18”, 12” and 6” pipes, all height ranges are achievable from 5 inches off the ground to standing eye level. The Post Coupler allows you to quickly combine two posts into one for heights beyond 18 inches.

A variety of seats were tested to find just the right size, support and durability. Through an exclusive partnership with Drum Workshop, we use a dense foam DW drummer’s throne. A seat designed for high-energy musicians who often spend hours in a seated position. The tough leather construction is just the right shape and diameter to allow freedom of motion for your legs, yet provide a supportive seating area. The circle shape was chosen over a rectangle so no time is wasted orienting the dolly every time you sit. Not too firm, not too soft, not too wide, not too narrow, the Sneaker Seat is just right!

An invaluable accessory to the Sneaker system which opens a world of possibilities. Our one of a kind Mitchell Block takes the place of the Sneaker seat, and in seconds the Sneaker transforms into a compact, rolling, adjustable Mitchell platform. With a footprint of only 15 inches, this camera base fits in tight spaces where a tripod, a dolly or a bazooka could never go. Need to adjust for an over the shoulder and can't squeeze a dolly in the room? No problem, throw a head on the Sneaker and you’re good to go. Shooting between the pews at a church? Easy. Roll the Sneaker between the seats. Need a rolling hi-hat? Screw the Mitchell Top Plate to the Sneaker base and you’re all set. And since the Mitchell Block uses the Sneaker’s existing Center Post system, you’ve got all the height ranges you need. No need to run to the grip truck for dolly risers. Which take forever to switch out and only come in 3 and 6-inch increments. The Sneaker Mitchell system is totally self-contained!

Mitchell seat

The foundation of the Sneaker system. This custom built beauty is precision CNC machined from industrial grade ½ inch 6061 Aluminum. Every curve, thread and mounting hole has been carefully considered for total modularity and a variety of configurations. Not only is the base chamfered and edged to a gorgeous finish, it can take a beating under the toughest conditions.

These heavy-duty, 2-inch aluminum-magnesium base flanges are as tough as they come. Rated for a payload well over 300 lbs, they are truly industrial strength. The articulating Kipp Handles provide firm leverage to ensure a strong, secure clamp on the Center Post with no play or slippage.

The Speedrail Mount Kit is a heavy duty accessory that allows you to securely fasten up to three 1-1/4" speedrail fittings to your Sneaker base. Build any variety of handle bars, elbow rests or any other speedrail based rigs you can think up. Using a push bar your dolly grip can guide you directly to a mark. You can mount a camera or remote head on the base and build a handle to roll the rig. Mount an armrest to the base to rest your elbows on while operating. You could also build a backrest. Maybe a cup holder? There are many interesting ways you could use this Speedrail Mount accessory and it has been designed for utmost versatility and heavy duty, high load bearing use.

Center posts

The Pneumatic Kit is easily interchangeable with the Sneaker post system. The gas lift provides 6 inches of range. There's 6 more inches of range at the base. And by adding the optional 3 inch risers to the setup, you have a whopping 15 INCHES OF RANGE on one build without switching posts.

The Sneaker is the only butt dolly in the industry to offer that feature!
